Limura · 60% Ethiopia · 40% Colombia

How it tastes

Limura is our house signature roast: arabica from Ethiopia and Colombia, roasted medium-dark into a harmonious blend. Pleasant sweetness, fine fruit notes and a round, balanced body. Versatile enough for every brewer and reliable enough for every day — as espresso, café crème, a long Verlängerter or a cappuccino.

Two mountains, one signature

Every roastery has one coffee that says who it is. For Tewoo, that is Limura: the blend we roast most, drink most and pour for our guests.

I

The Ethiopian highlands

Sixty percent comes from Ethiopia, the birthplace of arabica, where coffee grows high on the plateaus and still wild in the forests. This part brings floral elegance, fine fruit and liveliness.

II

The Colombian Andes

Forty percent comes from the Colombian Andes, hand-picked on steep family farms and washed in mountain water. This part brings balance, gentle sweetness and structure: the backbone of the blend.

III

Medium-dark, on purpose

We take Limura a little further than a classic medium roast, so it cuts through milk, stays round as espresso and forgives an imperfect grind. The mountain and the coffee branch engraved on the label stand for both origins. Roast date and origin are printed on every bag.

From the farm to your cup

  1. Picked ripe

Coffee cherries are picked when they are red and ripe, mostly by hand.

  2. Processed at origin

Washed or sun-dried at origin, then rested, sorted and bagged green.

  3. Shipped green

Green beans travel to Austria in jute sacks. Green coffee keeps; roasted coffee does not.

  4. Roasted in Neusiedl am See

Small batches in a drum roaster, near Vienna, by hand and by feel.

  5. Packed with a date

The roast date is printed on every bag, so you always know how fresh it is.

  6. Into your cup

Best 2–6 weeks after the roast date. Grind right before you brew.

How to brew it

☕ Espresso

18 g → 36 g · 25–30 s

Fine grind. Thick crema, flavour up front, a sweet finish.

🫖 Džezva / moka

Full basket, not tamped · medium-fine

Sweet and full, never bitter if you take it off the heat as soon as it starts to hiss.

🧋 French press

1 : 15 · 4 min · coarse

Brings out the full body and the chocolate and caramel notes.

💧 Filter / V60

60 g per 1 l · 3–4 min · medium

The most fruit and floral notes — a clean, tea-like cup.

Grind right before brewing · water at 92–96 °C · best 2–6 weeks after the roast date.

Goes well with

🥛

Milk drinks

Cappuccino, latte, flat white: medium-dark carries the milk.

🍎

Apple strudel & cheesecake

Soft fruit and cream next to a round, sweet espresso.

💧

A glass of water

The Viennese way: a long black, a glass of water, no hurry.

Questions

What does medium-dark mean?

A little longer in the roaster than medium: more body and caramel sweetness, less acidity, and still no burnt taste. Ideal for espresso and milk drinks.

Is Limura City Gourmet's house blend?

Yes. City Gourmet in Skopje pours Limura as its signature house blend, next to six single origins, Jamaica Blue Mountain and the Reserve line, so you can taste it at the bar before you take a bag home.

Is the 250 g Limura the same coffee?

Yes, the same 60% Ethiopia and 40% Colombia blend. The 250 g bag carries the City Gourmet label; the 1 kg comes in the new black Tewoo bag.

Is it whole bean or ground?

Whole bean. Coffee loses its aroma within minutes of grinding, so grind just before brewing: a hand grinder is enough. Set it fine for espresso, medium-fine for moka and džezva, medium for filter, coarse for French press.

How fresh is it?

Every bag carries its roast date. Coffee is at its best between 2 and 6 weeks after roasting; keep it in its bag with the zip closed, away from light and heat. Not in the fridge.

How do I pay and when does it arrive?

You pay the courier in cash on delivery, with no card and nothing up front. Delivery takes 1–3 working days anywhere in North Macedonia; we call to confirm the order first.

What if I do not like it?

You have a 30-day guarantee: if you do not like the taste, call the number on the parcel and we refund you.

Is it organic?

The beans come from organic producers at origin. We do not claim an organic certificate for the finished bag.
