Colombia, the classic
Ask a coffee lover to describe a "classic" cup and they will probably describe a Colombian: clean, nutty, sweet, with chocolate at the end.
IThree cordilleras
The Andes split into three ranges in Colombia, and coffee grows on all of them, mostly between 1,200 and 2,000 metres, on small family farms. Close to the equator, many regions harvest twice a year.
IIPicked by hand, washed in mountain water
The slopes are too steep for machines, so the cherries are picked by hand. Then the classic Colombian way: the fruit is removed, the beans are washed in clean water and dried in the sun. That gives the clean, sweet cup Colombia is famous for.
IIIThe City Gourmet bag
This 250 g bag wears the toucan label made with City Gourmet in Skopje, where it is poured and sold. Try it there first, take it home after.
